Submission / Registration
Submission of conference abstracts, registration and payment by credit card for the conference and the side events are administered via the external 'ConfTool' web application only. You will be asked to create a personal, password-protected account to use the submission and registration tool.
Re-opening until 10 June 2017 for poster presentations only
The regular abstract submission period for oral and poster presentations ended on 15 March 2017, however the submission for poster presentations only is possible on the basis of individual requests.
Please register as a user in the registration system first and send an email to email@example.com with your request. We will then activate the right to submit an abstract for a poster presentation in your user account.
Deadline for these poster submissions: 10 June 2017.
A text editor is provided to enter the following information: title, author(s), presenting author, up to three affiliations per author, main text with up to three references (limit of 450 words), up to five keywords, and the related conference theme. Language: English only.
You can indicate your intention to submit a manuscript to the conference Special Issue opening in October 2017.
Accepted abstracts will be published in a conference volume in digital form. Video recording of some oral presentations is foreseen and the videos will be made publicly available on the conference website.
The number of submissions is limited to 1 (one) per person (as presenting author).
The presenting author must register and pay the conference fee by 15 June 2017 in order to keep the submission in the conference program. Note that registration fees change from early to standard rates after 31 May 2017 (see Registration fees).
Registration fees for conference participation vary according to the registration period (early, standard, late) and are reduced for students. Please upload, if applicable, a valid student ID card at the beginning of the registration process to benefit from the reduced fee.
You may register for the full conference or for selected days (day passes).
Catering during breaks and lunch (except for Wednesday) is included. Full participation includes also the conference dinner and the icebreaker reception. In addition, these two events may be booked for an accompanying person. The conference dinner may be booked separately by participants with day passes.
A wide range of excursions is available for Wednesday afternoon and for Saturday following the conference.
Please note that the number of seats for the excursions as well as for the conference and the conference dinner is limited and early booking is advised.
Registration for the ICDC10 is secured via payment of the appropriate registration fee by credit card only (Mastercard or Visa). Please note that the final program will be set up based on full payments only. Registration and your contribution are not confirmed until your full payment has been received.
Confirmation of participation: an official confirmation will be provided at the conference on request.
Pre-reserved rooms are available at special rates for the attendees of the ICDC10. The accommodation bookings are managed by Interlaken Congress & Events on behalf of the organizers. We recommend that you book your room as early as possible, as Interlaken is a popular tourist destination and August lies within the peak season.
